Personal news |
Again there are many changes to report. After a returning unexpectedly for two and a half years to my old job at the UNESCO Institute for Education, Hamburg, I left the job again in September 2008 to concentrate on numerous other projects: teaching at Exeter and Bremen Universities, writing, translating and working, together with my wife Donate, on our garden in Bremen. Our house in Rühstädt, where we intended to develop the Ozgard Centre for Nature Philosophy, has been put on the market, and Ozgard is now taking shape in Bremen - albeit on a somewhat smaller scale. The Ozgard Network (see menu) has now been launched in the form of a Yahoo group, with members as far apart as Germany, England Holland and South Africa. Meanwhile my book Gardens of the Gods has appeared in German in Donate's translation as Gärten der Götter (Munich: Herbig Verlag, 2005). Another piece of news is that I and a group of friends have founded a folk dance group in Bremen called Gandr-Danz. We began with English Morris dancing and now plan to expand to other forms of folk dance. New members are welcome (contact me at the address given here).
